Yvonne resides in Susanville, California with her husband
Jim, and two sons Travis and Tyler. A life long love affair with dolls
became an obsession to create them after moving to Susanville three years
ago. Since then she has been selling her creations in local craft fairs
and gift stores. Six months ago she began designing her own patterns. Most
of the dolls are crafted in a traditional country style and range in price
from $20.00 to $75.00.
Some
of her favorites include Raggedy Ann and Andy style dolls which are made
in four different sizes along with the wall garland shown at the bottom
of this page. Orders require four to six weeks for delivery.
Yvonne entered three dolls in the show this year and won Blue Ribbons in each Division/Class and then went on to win Best of Class with her original design of Corinda (picture to the right) along with this IVC Award for her original design of Melody.
